Adam Johnson - Brockit Inc.
Adam and his team at Brockit Photography have been involved in providing incredible photography, videography, and aerial videography of the CopperDog since the race was created in 2009. It is not an understatement to say that Adam not only documented the entire history of the race in images, he has also helped guide the race to what it is now, one of the premier mushing events in the world. Adam considers the CopperDog to be his family and is a labor of love. With a studio in the Keweenaw Peninsula, the team at brockit inc. has been spending as much time in-studio as out in the elements for the past 22 years.
For the past several years Adam has been joined by Alaskan adventurer Jess Rich who works closely with Adam as both assistant and second photographer.
A CopperDog Film
Brockit Photography created “A Copper Dog Film” documenting the CopperDog ethos. The film has received great reviews and is starting to gain traction in film festivals. The film was supported by Visit Keweenaw, the Keweenaw Coffee Works, and Iron Fish Distillery.
